Our Vote was finally changing things in a major way, transforming the future into a much brighter, far more equal destiny.
If you know this, you know that our new power has so frightened some people that they have determined to take away the power of our vote at the expense of destroying democracy.
These anti-democratic forces want to suppress and not count our vote.
Why do you think so many are making such a huge effort and investing hundreds of millions of dollars to suppress out vote?
They are afraid of our vote because they know this time it will mean real transformation change. (Click here for what real transformational change means.)
THEY WANT TO STOP US - NOW!
They want to subvert and change the law so that we will not have a choice in the future.
They are fewer than us, but they think they can win because they don't think there is enough of us who know how powerful our vote has become.
They think that we won't show up with the numbers during the midterm.
They know that they will lose if we push back .
They know it is finally the time for our people and others to get on the
playing field with the right equipment and opportunity.
If they win, they will
curtail protests with harsh penalties and technology,
attack the freedom of the press and assembly,
take away the gains we have made,
criminalize lifestyles and
attack & penalize belief systems.
They will scapegoat Black and Brown people, faiths and lifestyles that are not like theirs, and make it impossible for the world to avoid catastrophic global climate tipping points, which could make regaining our rights near impossible.
BUT YOU CAN STOP THIS HORROR.
AND SAVE THE FUTURE WHILE BRINGING ABOUT REAL, TRANSFORMATIONAL CHANGE.
As a center of communication, during one of the most critical times in the history of our people and our country, you can make a huge difference in the future of your family, your friends, your clients, and, in fact, all of us.
You will create the margin of victory for democracy and freedom in the coming elections. Key issues and candidates that determine the future will be on the line and victory is expected to be close.

As part of joining the effort to bring about transformational change and to defeat those that would bring back to the loss of civil rights of Jim Crow 2.0, the Empowerment and Democracy Project, a new B-PEP initiative, would like to celebrate your important participation as follows:

Saviviors of Democracy at the Crossroads* will be a hard-covered book listing the heroes and sheroes at this critical, historical junction (a suggested title that may change). It will list your participation during these pivotal times when your people and the planet needed you. It will exist, documenting your involvement, a legacy to future generations, and we are reaching out to libraries and African-American history associations to preserve it in their collections.
